Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the RentDirectGH mobile application and website (“Platform”) operated by RentDirectGH (“we,” “our,” or “us”).
By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, please do not use our services.
1. Eligibility
To use RentDirectGH, you must be:
• At least 18 years old.
• Capable of entering into a binding contract.
• Using the platform for lawful purposes only.
2. Services Provided
RentDirectGH offers a digital platform that:
• Connects property seekers directly with verified property owners.
• Allows property owners to list their properties for rent.
• Provides access to verified property data and contact details.
We do not act as real estate agents, nor do we collect rent or manage properties on behalf of users.
3. User Responsibilities
As a property owner, you agree to:
• Provide accurate, up-to-date information about your property.
• Confirm that you have the legal right to rent the property.
• Respond promptly to inquiries from prospective tenants.
As a property seeker, you agree to:
• Use the platform lawfully and respectfully.
• Not engage in fraudulent or harmful activities.
• Verify the property in person before making any payment.
4. Prohibited Activities
You may not use the platform to:
• List fake or misleading properties.
• Impersonate another person or entity.
• Post or distribute unlawful, defamatory, or abusive content.
• Solicit money without providing a valid property listing.
5. Verification and Accuracy
RentDirectGH takes reasonable steps to verify property listings and ownership & legitimacy. However, we do not guarantee:
• That every property is exactly as described.
• That every user is who they claim to be.
Users are advised to visit the property in person and avoid making payments before verifying legitimacy.
6. Payments and Fees
• Accessing the platform is free for property seekers.
• Property owners may be charged a small listing or verification fee.
• All payments made on the platform (if any) are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
7. Privacy
By using our platform, you agree to our Privacy Policy, which governs how we collect, store, and use your information.
8. Limitation of Liability
RentDirectGH is not liable for:
• Any financial loss resulting from rental scams outside our platform.
• Disputes between landlords and tenants.
• Temporary platform outages or data errors.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you:
• Violate these Terms.
• Engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior.
• Post misleading or fake listings.
10. Changes to Terms
RentDirectGH reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting. Continued use of the platform means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Ghana.
